FSSA Honored at HS Journalism Awards
Junior Carmella Lara holds the award for the piece of writing that was honored at the ceremony.
The Bennett, the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts’ school newspaper was recently honored at the 13th Annual Baruch College High School Journalism Awards and Conference in NYC.
The Bennett received second place at this year’s Newsies a runner-up in the Arts/Entertainment category for Junior Carmella Lara’s David Bowie tribute titled “Farewell Starman.”
